Born on September 15, 1989, Paul Shah is a Nepali film actor and model known for his work in the Nepali film industry. Shah got his film breakthrough from Nai Nabhannu La 4. Since then has made an appearance in the romantic drama Ma Yesto Geet Gauchu, the action film Johnny Gentleman and the family drama Shatru Gate. He later worked in a social romantic drama Bir Bikram 2, part of the Bir Bikram series, and Ma Yesto Geet Gauchhu 2

Paul Shah Rape Case
Shah was arrested on 27 February 2022 pending a full investigation, after a 17-year-old singer filed a police complaint accusing him of rape. The District Government Attorney’s Office in the Nawalpur district of Gandaki on Thursday filed a case against actor Paul Shah at the district court, accusing him of raping a minor. The office has demanded the court hand him down a 14-year jail sentence. On 6 September 2022, The Nawalpur district court clarified the rape and sentenced him to 2.5 years in prison for sexually abusing a minor. Meanwhile, Shah is also facing a similar charge in the Tanahun district and the verdict is pending.
The singer, a minor as per Nepal’s law, has accused Shah of raping her with a false promise of marriage. She filed the case in Tanahun days after the controversy arose, with reports surfacing on various online news outlets.
However, the singer later changed her statement. While recording her statement at the court in April, the girl said that she had not been raped as she claimed earlier, saying that the information stated in the earlier complaints was false.
