Hospitalized Brazilian legend Pele has asked his supporters to remain calm and positive. Pele wrote a status on social media and told his well-wishers that he is strong and still has hope. He is currently undergoing treatment at the Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paulo, Brazil. After the cancer surgery last year, he has been undergoing chemotherapy. He was admitted to the hospital last Tuesday due to respiratory complications.
He said that the present condition is normal from the hospital. He also said that he was energized by the performance of the Brazilian players in the ongoing World Cup in Qatar. He said that after he was admitted to the hospital, messages of good wishes started coming to him from all over the world. As a result of which he said that he is healthy.
Players including world star Kylian Mbappe also wrote ‘Pray for King’ on Twitter, wishing for his health. Pele is the greatest player in world football. In his important role, Brazil won the World Cup in 1958, 1962, and 1970. He has scored 12 goals in 14 matches in the World Cup and he has scored more than 1200 goals in his career.
