Spain defeated Costa Rica by a wide margin of 7-0 in the Group Eco match during the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Qatar. This is Spain’s biggest win in the World Cup so far. Also, this is a huge victory in this World Cup.

The young players gave a great performance to give Spain a wide victory in the match at the Al Thumama Stadium on Wednesday night. 6 different players scored in the match and Ferran Torres scored twice. Ferran scored in the 31st and 54th minutes. Dani Olmo scored in the 11th minute and Marco Asensio in the 21st minute.

Similarly, Gavi scored in the 74th minute. The 18-year-old Gavi became Spain’s youngest player to score at the World Cup and the third youngest player overall behind Pele and Manuel Rosas. Spain did not stop there. Carlos Soler, who entered the field as a substitute player, scored in the 90th minute and Alvaro Morata scored in injury time, and Spain won by a wide margin.

The champion of 2010, Spain, claimed the title with a wide victory in the first game. Germany, the former champion in this group, lost to Japan in the first game.
